I had shoulder and elbow pain after a couple of bicycle accidents, Mr Gupta was recommended to me by a friend as she had seen him for a shoulder problem.
After examining my shoulder which was very stiff and painful with limited movement, I had an MRI of both the shoulder and the elbow. This showed that the elbow was ok but the shoulder had arthritis. Mr Gupta explained everything clearly, telling me the options for treatment, and initially I had an injection. I went on to have an operation and really felt that I was in good hands. It has been two months now and the follow up care has been great.

My GP referred me to Mr Gupta for a second opinion on my shoulder. He was considered and methodical with his diagnosis and didn’t rush into surgery. In fact he initially recommended I monitor the situation and only come back for further diagnosis if the pain returned.
With his diligent approach he quickly built up trust and explained everything clearly using patient friendly language.
Mr Gupta is an excellent surgeon and I would recommend him to anyone having shoulder surgery. I cannot thank him enough for fixing my shoulder and for his excellent patient care.

After being mis-diagnosed by a previous doctor over a year ago, Mr Gupta did the necessary tests and advised I had golfers elbow. After three self funded PRP injections my elbow is fantastic compared to what it was. At one time I was unable to hold a plate with my left hand without pain in the elbow. I can now hold a plate with no pain what so ever. Mr Gupta was very thorough and listened to my symptoms. I would highly recommend Mr Gupta.

Mr Rohit Gupta, BSc(Hons), MBBS(Lond), FRCS(Eng), FRCS(Tr&Orth), is a Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in Upper Limb surgery at Ashford and St Peter's Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, Surrey since 2005. He provides NHS and private treatment for shoulder, elbow, wrist and hand complaints, both surgical and non-surgical. He considers it to be an immense privilege that he is regarded as the premier Upper Limb Specialist to consult in his part of the UK by his patients and peers alike.
